About Me
I am a human resources executive who specializes in building people strategies for small to mid-size businesses navigating growth and change. With more than 25 years of experience, I am passionate about helping organizations at pivotal moments—whether they're scaling rapidly, going through transformation, or realizing they've outgrown their current HR approach.
I have a proven track record of building HR functions from the ground up. At PBI-Gordon Companies, where I most recently served as Vice President of Human Resources, I led enterprise-wide HR strategy for a parent company and three subsidiaries, guiding the organization through significant change including leadership development initiatives, HR system and technology modernization, and workforce transformation. I am a trusted advisor to CEOs, Senior Leadership and Boards, helping leaders make smart decisions about talent, organizational design, and culture, especially during periods when getting those decisions right matters most.
I understand the unique challenges facing growing businesses: limited resources, competing priorities, and the need for HR solutions that are both strategic and practical. Whether it's building a leadership team, modernizing compensation strategy, or creating the systems and processes that allow a company to scale, I bring a hands-on, business-focused approach that drives real results.
I hold a Bachelor of Science in Human Development from Kansas State University (go Cats!) and am a member of the Society for Human Resource Management. I live in Shawnee, Kansas with my husband Nick, two spoiled dogs, and a collection of plants that may have gotten slightly out of hand. I’m also the proud mom of two adult children, Jesse and Maggie.
